Course information
Course Title: Emergency First Aid At Work
Course Level: ACF Level 2*
Qualification: Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid At Work (QCF)
Unit 1 -
*England, Northern Ireland and Wales
Duration
A minimum of 6 contact hours in the classroom, consisting of practical and theoretical activities.
This course is spread over two days or can be completed in (2) 3 hour sessions .
Certification
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor along with a multiple choice question paper, and a three year qualification will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment (The HSE strongly recommends that all students undergo a 3hour annual refresher)

Emergency First Aid
At Work
This HSE approved qualification has been in effect since 1st October 2009, along with new guidance on assessing the needs of First Aid in your workplace. Your risk assessment of First Aid needs may well identify the need for Emergency First Aiders either as an addition to your First Aiders, or where the risk of your business is low, it may well identify them as being sufficient without the need of additional First Aiders.
